Day 2 and Dennis’ arm didn’t look like it was going to let up any time soon.
Dennis was lying in bed, his arm wrapped up in bandages and under heavy pain medication. He wasn’t going to be getting up again any time soon. Moving would just aggravate his arm further anyway. Luckily the painkillers also left him rather docile and foggy minded, so he barely noticed the boredom and his irritation at being helpless and vulnerable. At least it meant he couldn’t be so hostile to the people trying to help him.
Ruri peeked into the room and saw him laying there. Although she hated pretty much everyone here she can’t deny her urge to help.
“Hey,” she calls, “can I get you anything? Like food or a drink or something?”
“How foolish of you to say. But just remember…your actions may produce dire consequences...”
“Dire? I care not if my actions are dire.” She wants Yuuri to know this. She won’t be afraid of him Unless…he gives her a reason to be afraid.
“Let me go from this place. Now.” She stands confident, staring him right in the eyes Her expression is full of deep malice she never knew she had She dislikes hatred, but right now her anger feeds off of it.
“Oh really?” Now that somewhat pecked his interest. Was any of that true? Or was she just keeping to some story. Well she did seem pretty distraught trying to explain it to him there must be some truth to it.
“I’m sorry to hear you’ve been though so much.” It would probably be better to just go along with what she said, just so she wouldn’t get upset he figured. “Could I maybe help you a little? Since you seem like you could use some.”
“Do you have a teleportation device or know anyone who has one? It would help a lot if you have one. Or do you know anyone named Yuto and Shun?” He didn’t look like the kind of person to have one but Ruri keeps her hope even though she feels it waning like the flame of her heart w a n i n g
